Description

A refreshing and classic Strawberry Daiquiri made with fresh and frozen strawberries, rum, simple syrup, and lime juice. Perfect for summer, this cocktail is fruity, smooth, and easy to blend. A nonalcoholic version is also included for a delicious virgin option.

Instructions

  1. Prepare strawberries: Remove stems from strawberries and slice them in half. Freeze half of the berries (8 ounces) for at least 2 hours until solid.
  2. Blend ingredients: Combine the fresh strawberries, frozen strawberries, rum, simple syrup, and lime juice in a high-speed blender jar. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Garnish and serve: Pour the daiquiri into glasses and garnish with an extra strawberry and/or a slice of lime for presentation.
  4. Make it nonalcoholic (optional): To prepare a virgin daiquiri, omit the rum and substitute it with 4 ounces of water before blending.
