Description

A creamy and refreshing Copycat Shamrock Shake made with real vanilla ice cream, mint extract, and green food coloring, perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or any time you want a festive treat.

Shake Ingredients

  • 2 cups premium vanilla ice cream
  • 2/3 cup whole milk (adjust if needed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon mint extract (not peppermint)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8-9 drops green food coloring

Optional Garnishes

  • Chocolate syrup (for glass drizzle)
  • Whipped cream
  • Green decorator sugar and/or sprinkles
  • Maraschino cherries


Instructions

  1. Blend the shake: In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, whole milk, mint extract, vanilla extract, and green food coloring. Blend on high until smooth and creamy. If the shake is too thick, add a splash of milk. If too thin, blend in another scoop of ice cream or a few ice cubes to thicken.
  2. Decorate glasses and pour: Optionally, drizzle chocolate syrup around the inside of two tall glasses. Then, divide the shake evenly between the glasses.
  3. Serve and garnish: Top each shake with whipped cream, green decorator sugar or sprinkles, and a maraschino cherry if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy the festive treat!
