Description

Cranberry Brie Bites are a delightful and easy-to-make appetizer featuring creamy brie cheese and tangy homemade cranberry sauce baked in flaky crescent roll dough. Perfect for holiday gatherings, date nights, or any festive occasion, these bite-sized treats combine sweet and savory flavors in a crispy, golden-brown pastry.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent rolls (8 ounces)
  • 4 oz brie cheese
  • ⅓ cup homemade cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure it’s ready for baking the bites evenly.
  2. Prepare dough: Unroll the crescent rolls and gently press the seams together to form a single sheet. Cut the dough into 18 rectangles to fit into the mini muffin tin cups.
  3. Fill muffin tin: Place each dough rectangle into a cup of a mini muffin tin, allowing the dough to line the bottom and sides. Don’t worry if the dough doesn’t go all the way up the sides.
  4. Add cheese: Cut the brie cheese into 18 small pieces and place one piece into each dough-lined muffin cup.
  5. Top with cranberry sauce: Spoon about one teaspoon of homemade cranberry sauce on top of the brie cheese in each cup.
  6. Bake: Bake the cranberry brie bites for 12 minutes or until the crescent dough is golden brown and the cheese and cranberry sauce are bubbly and melted.
  7. Serve warm: Immediately remove the bites from the muffin tin and serve them warm to enjoy their gooey and crispy texture.

Notes

  • These bites are ideal for holiday parties, easy date night appetizers, or casual get-togethers.
  • You can substitute store-bought cranberry sauce if homemade is unavailable.
  • Use a non-stick mini muffin tin or grease the cups lightly to prevent sticking.
  • For added texture, sprinkle chopped nuts like pecans on top before baking.
  • The recipe can be doubled easily for larger gatherings.
